St. Philip’s 大学 Hosts Fall 2024 Tiger Nation Family Day

On Saturday, August 24, St. Philip’s 大学 welcomed incoming students and their families to Tiger Nation Family Day. 事件, designed to introduce new students to the college campuses, saw a record-breaking turnout with over 600 guests.

事件 began with a DJ and appearance by the college’s mascot, 老虎菲尔, followed by 图书馆 and Humanities Professor Kelli Wilder in full regalia. Carrying the college mase, she marched across the stage to represent the principle of “beginning with the end in mind,” a Franklin Covey Principle, and reminding our incoming students of the college’s commitment to student success through graduation and completion.

“As a new administrator at SPC, I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly encouraged by the sense of community and collaboration exhibited by the entire college family,” said Dean for Student Success, Educational Support Services Tommy Morris. “There was overwhelming support for success and a sense of belonging of our students.”

After the formal presentations ended, there was a campus party. Guests enjoyed a BBQ lunch, tours of the main campus and Southwest Campus, a student club fair, an academic department expo, 彩票游戏, 还有一个招聘会. There was also a balloon artist and bowling.
